These are the rules every story on freshnews.uk follows.
Sources
- Every story is based on a published report and links to it. We do not publish rumours or unsourced claims.
- We report only what the source says. We do not add figures, dates, quotes or names that are not in it.
- We write in our own words. A story is a short summary, not a copy of the original.
Editor's comment
The comment at the end of a story explains what the news means in practice. It is clearly marked, kept separate from the report, and never attributed to invented experts.
Images
Images on story pages illustrate the topic. They are not photographs of the events described.
